2010 saw the recovery of Indian real estate market, though the pace was quite slow in the first half as the businesses were recovering from the recession shock. However, the latter half was good for the realtors as the market picked up in terms of demand. The premium and luxury realty solutions that saw few buyers in 2009 and the first half of 2010 again saw an increased demand in the latter half of 2010.

The robust economic growth has helped realtors to raise the price and in the year 2011 there is very less possibility of the correction in the price. The increased momentum of luxury segment by main realtors like Jaypee, Ansal, Parsvanath, M3M, BPTP, Amrapali and others is there to stay in 2011 and there are many premium projects in the pipeline which would be launched this year. The launch of many luxurious projects in Delhi-NCR like M3M Golf Estates, Jaypee Greens Knight’s Court, The Castille, The Kosmos etc are the pre-cursors for the many luxury residential projects to come in year 2011.

The real estate market of Delhi-NCR has seen many branded players like Godrej and Mahindra & Mahindra enter in the last year and industry experts are optimistic that many groups active in South and West India will join the race in this promising market. Affordable housing that was promoted during the recession will also be the theme among many players which seems feasible for middle-income groups.

Moreover, Year 2011 also seems important for the Jaypee Group as its mega Jaypee Greens Sports City project will witness the first Indian Formula 1 Racing event. So, the congregation due to this event will also be a determinant in generating the buzz for this firm. Year 2011 is business time for those involved in realty.
